I have a 2007 BMW GS650
Looking for the following:
- Side racks for the back (to serve as crash bars too).
- Preferably soft luggage/panniers - need strong, durable zips to cope with dust (around 30L or more - each.. I am a woman! >
).
- Or hard panniers.
- A Soft top box.
- Crash bars for the front.
- 2nd hand neck brace in good condition.
I am planning a trip but fairly cash strapped (happy to live on water and fresh air for the trip! ;D). The distance of my trip will depend what I have to pay for luggage.
What are the pros and cons for hard versus soft panniers? Aluminium versus Plastic? Any advice please?
