Friend mentioned it to me after getting soaked on a trip back from the coast . He said he used the tent  waterproof sealing spray on a pair of  normal jeans and thsi made them waterproof . I am not so sure but it seems an option? Anybody here try this ?
He said the only thing to do before spraying the kit is to make sure its 100% clean as once sprayed and their is a mark it stays . I have a pair of riding jeans that I want to try this on , They were not expensive , and mite be worth the test to make them a bit more wind proof .
Also thinking of spraying it on a jacket to try out .
What do you guys think? I have sprayed a nylon tent and it seems to work well , (but) the tent  has a built in water resistant colum , so I am not sure if I made it better or not , last camp in rain did keep the water beading off the top rain-fly.
