What a Great Group of Riders that came with us on The Helderberg Yamaha Ride today( Andy & Dave).

Many thanks for all that attended  and made todays ride such  a big success, although a bit nippy this morning.

Just after Malmsbury we stopped for a re-group and we had 22 Bikes, two with Pillions,
Making a total of 24 for Lunch at The Cederberg Oasis.

We left Helderberg Yamaha on time, did the N7 through Malmsbury.
It  was very pretty with all the fog filling the valleys and the church bell towers sticking out the top of the fog.

We headed for Picketberg and stopped for coffee and some for Petrol , next stop was Citrusdal , for a top up of fuel before heading onto the dirt

After the fast ride through the Citrus Planations , we stopped for a re-group

Then off up Niewouds Pass , past Algeria and a couple of pics from Uitkyk Pass

SHAHEED 1200 , LEFT

ROBIN BROWN

And then we arrived at Oasis at around 12h30

Chantal did a fantastic job of cooking for all of us , with the help of who two children and Gerrit , they brought our food out by name , and as usual the food was  excellent.
And by 14h30 , we were all on our bikes , the group splitting up , with more than half going home through Ceres and the rest of us heading back past Sanddrift on that awesome gravel.

OASIS ?
Gerrit and Chantal , you have created one of the best venues for Adventure Bikers In South Africa and  we Thank You for that,

Oh , and all safely home , with no falls , erm maybe just one little fall over, but I cant remember who ??? Lol

Thanks for a great day Andy! I had a blast :ricky:

Wayne invited me up there that last long weekend and he said nothing about going there this weekend.
