A member of the WD community went down Saturday. Unfortunately i do not have her forum name, but have met her a few weeks ago at Kriges during the usual Friday drinks. She is from Somerset West/Strand and riding a 650GS, anyone with info on her forum name?
Luckily, medical help was close by, but she insisted to continue to the sleepover in Witsand, but was later convinced to get to a hospital for X-Rays. Under a lot of protest i might add.The news Sunday morning was that she broke an ankle, a toe as well as a finger. I can assure you that she is a very brave girl!
I wasnt on the scene, but i heard that the first thing she said was, "MY PIPE", referring to her newly fitted aftermarket exhaust! She was well protected by the necessary gear and things could have been a lot worse.
Recover quickly and hope you get your beloved GS650 sorted!!

The member involved is Mardigra.
I have just spoken to her and she is still in hospital with a screw in the toe and additional armour added to her ankle. She is in good spirit, but will be "down" for six weeks.
