Great Ride report, great pics, wish I could have been there.

Get well soon The_wes, if its any consolation Im nursing a similar wound.

Good morning guys.

Here's what I got in terms of pictures. Unfortunately I was lagging behind and just too tired to get out my camera every time we were in the good stuff. Maybe next time I'll make more effort. Won't want to act as brave as that any time soon but must admit that I enjoyed the challenge and are tempted to try again. Bravo to the guys who took their heavy machines through there!!! And also thanks to Lito and the other big brothers who took care of a newbie like me.  :) And Guys, the helmet was supposed to be an easy open access for picture taking.

Ok, all the videos are up.

This is the very first section about 800meters from the road and a pretty rude awakening for those who haven't ridden here before. The quicker guys scream through and then the rest start the struggle...

Then Wes gets the message that he is not loved anymore...

This is the very first section of mud. Sack shows just how to rodeo a big GS. The rest just try to survive.

Then this is a relatively milder section of the thick sand with some whoops to the camera's left that you see on some of the clips. Some swearing, some falls and a lot of sweating...

And this is how it is supposed to be done, Lito and Giraffe...

Then after the group got smaller and only 6 were left, this was the last bit of sand before the gravel road. Paramed was never so grateful to see a gravel road. Although he had to turn around and ride the 3.77km of this back to where we started. It is fun once a bit of speed is made. (get your sprocket off Para and gear down)

Hi guys, just got back from PE. what a great RR with great pics and video clips, thanks guys. I really had a great ride as I really enjoy sand. Big thanks to KTM for the 690. That bike is unbelievable for this type of riding. So well balanced and loads of power. Big thanks to Lito for planning the ride. Was really good to meet some of the new faces and hope to ride with you guys again.

Pete - thats it - come and try!  :thumleft: I see some sand in your future - sommer this naweek.

Giraffe - that last section we did was absolute piele - thanks mate  - always fun to ride with you.  :thumleft:

Please note that a posthumous award must go to the poor tree that connected with Giraffes peak (did you know its broken on the right hand side Giraffe?). I had a word with the tree afterward, and it shed some bark in spontaneous outburst. Never mind the poor trees that Girafffe decided to farm  - but thats another story

if there are no photos, it never happened :deal: The last section was good fun, but I sure worked up a sweat. :ricky:
