After nearly 3 years my battery is starting to complain. Hadn't ridden for nearly 2 weeks and yesterday she took a couple tried to start.
Rode to first meeting spot and she started fine after so I thought everything was cool. Stopped for gas 50km later, and ended up filling the bike, and then fiddling with the gps for 5 mins with the ignition on. Try to start and "KACHNK" and then "MTC FAILURE!"
I was now 50km from home so turned it off completely and tried again with much praying to the buddha....and it started. But the Check Engine Light remains (I presume it'll switch off after a few more successful starts.)
I'm going to try charge it this week, coz it might be the 2 week standing + cold snap on the weekend, but if it is dying, what batteries do we like? Are those fancy lithium jobs worth it?
