........As above??
What do you ALWAYS pack, but almost NEVER use, but you still pack it in for the next trip "just in case"...........???
I'm trying to "trim" my "camping trio list" even more.
Its not bad at the moment, I must say, but there Are stuff that I chuck in and just never ever use.
In my case, "camping" meaning at a caravan park/resort thing, with running water, wood, ice, food, etc etc, so not a completely self sufficient, wild camping setup
What I just never use but still always chuck in , just "in case":
1) Extra tiedowns (rekke)
2) WD 40
3) Tyrefix (but completely out of the way, so no real issue)
4) Thermos flask
5) Headlamp (I use a little solar camp light instead)

..........etc etc??

Like above, I think I've "scaled down" quite a bit, example I boil water in my mug, use ONLY a spoon (Leatherman is my knife too), the Sunlight dish soap (koekie seep) is also sommer my body soap, I only use one Varkpan to cook/boil in, etc etc.......I think I've reduced my stuff enough without being really uncomfortable.
My bedding, for example, is my sleeping bag, inflatable mattress and "kussingsloop" (Eng word??) rolled into one, my clothes/jacket serves as my pillow - stuff like that.
BUT yes, I still think I can do better, without compromising comfort
