So my wife is wanting to upgrade her bike and is looking at this little Honda XR250 Tornado. It currently has about 23k kilos on the dial and as far I can tell it's stock standard.
There are a few issues that need doing but as it is I am sure it will pass road worthy, after a good wash. But for me I would do the following as it either hasn't been done or needs doing before riding it
Fix the base gasket oil leak
Service the suspension
Replace the headstock bearings
New chain and sprockets
New rear tyre
Major service.
Any ideas or thoughts about what these are worth and what is a realistic price to ask? I know the current owner paid about R35k two years ago. But seeing what needs doing to the bike I don't feel it's worth that (if it ever was)
