So after all of the "How to ride sand" threads that have been popping up, I thought that I would start one about what NOT to do in sand.
So it turns out that when you come over the crest of a sand dune, it is rather beneficial to NOT have all of your weight near the front of the bike, as otherwise the below happens.
And no, I did not hit the front brake, and luckily I did not go over the handlebars! Just a gentle stop in the sand.
Anyone else want to share "what NOT to do in sand"?
