What type of Helmet

Morning All,

I need to purchase a Helmet to cover my dome when riding my 1200 GSA.

This is my first D/S bike.

What is the preference and why? Peak or Flip open?

Some have told me that a peak is a hinderence on the open road. I would want a good quality product.
