3 skoolmaats (ons ken mekaar al van 1974 af [emoji15]) ry volgende Sondag van Pretoria en Johannesburg af hier na my toe vir 'n hele weeklange kuier oppie plaas en rondry hier in die distrik.

Gaan blerrie moerse wees. Ek sien baie uit. Ek gaan hulle by Colesberg kry.

Jammer, nog geen kiekies nie, net 'n vroeë waarskuwing vir moontlike foto storm op dié fred. [emoji16]

Mercury went up to 36C today, so us cowboys started to stop at a Saloon.
The google-earthed route turned out to have some gates in it, so we opened them (closed them too yes).
Warm, dry, dusty but beautiful landscape...
... with some little water also, plus a few big dams in the area.
Beestekraal served us breakfast, always lekker and perfectly timed just before two in the afternoon.
On the way back some dirtroads also, but I lost my riding buddy somewhere in Brits so I hit it to home, rain was starting to fall.
Turns out he ran some De Wildt whoops when I stopped for some cold milk in Rosslyn.... oh well, next time better  :thumleft:
