The top end of Troupes Rd or Blood Hill has the best view of the back end of East London as you reenter through the Dorchester Heights causeway

The end of the 205km round trip is Blood Hill that is so steep, vehicles would loose traction in the wet so they had to tar it.

Ridden up it a few times on my mountain bike but its a mean effort for sure.

Need to gain a bit of confidence riding the 990 in slow feet  down tech stuff. I struggle to reach the ground and maybe being overly careful on those steps in the first video.

Started “finding my 990 feet” on technical terrain in second video and starting to feel at home on ig now

The plan was to use the 990 as my touring bike. But then you realise the 990 S is a lot of fun in the rough stuff and find excuses to ride it more and more.

890 Rally still the business though.

Your bike is so clean that it looks like it was positioned there on top of the hill by helicopter.  What aren't you telling us NK
