There is a "K" missing in your number plate  :lol8:

Other than that it looks like a lekker trip. ("lekker" means "simply smashing old chap" in high British)

Lekker indeed! I remember that word from when I lived near Amanzimtoti as a kid.  More than a hint of High Britishness here in Matjiesfontein - our hotel has two union flags flying and we toured the town on a 1950s London bus yesterday.

Anyway, looks like we aren't going home any time soon, so it might be a new rear boot and head off exploring again - maybe to KZN?

Are you contemplating any travels up North into South Africa?

We've been up north!  Didn't do quite the route planned, but got as far as the Caprivi.  Heading over to Oudtshoorn tomorrow for a couple of nights before working our way back to Cape Town.  We were due to leave for home (UK) on the 16th,  but flight has  been cancelled, and I ain't going to Covid jail anyway, no sirree, so pondering our options.  Still have a itch to scratch in terms of the Sani, but it wluld have to be dry.

Anyone know what Die Hel is like at the moment?

Hoop julle het hom 'n straf dop gegee nadat hy almal so geroost het in die rivier

We were there last weekend. It will be fine from now on as the rain seems to have ended.
Especially the first half of the road is rocky but we did it easily. I was on a loaded XR650L.
Someone with your experience will be fine.

For a hike up TM and a cruise around the coast, stopped at Camp's and saw a few well tanned topless birds - sorry no pics;)

From Oudtshoorn to Montagu today, taking the very scenic gravel road from the bottom of the Swartberg pass to Calitzdorp.

Like riding through the Garden of Eden, so beautiful.  Bumped into a chap along the way, 86 years old and still having a ball on his bike.  Saw some giraffes an' all, bonus!

One more day on the road then we have a couple of days in Camps Bay to try to figure out what to do next, as we still don't seem to be able to go home.
