A spur of the moment little ride this morning. Out to the west of George on the contour roads leading to Jonkersberg. Could have gone much further. Next time.

Jislaaik, ek wens ek kon nou in my geboortedorp bly. 10 minute uit die dorp en jy op die lekkerste roetes en paaie.

Had a job in Hammanskraal so I took the boy for his first ride. Bit boring for an inaugural ride, but then township driving is also adventure riding. Then did a ride through Dinokeng Big 5 Reserve. No cheetahs, so couldn't test the boy's 0 - 100km/h time.

Wall to wall sunshine (as always, ahem) so me and Mrs 3D took off over to the west coast of these here Highlands. Quick stop in Torridon for a photo, then on to the Applecross road where we found a wee cove to have our picnic. The pass from Applecross is called Bealach na Ba (Pass of the cows in Gaelic) is getting in worse condition than ever. An adventure bike isn't strictly necessary here, but they can come in handy...

Ek het op die ingewing van die oomblik oor Gysmanshoek Barrydale toe en Tradouws pas om terug gery.
Gysmanshoek is amper n dirt highway met net een of twee plekkies waar klippe is.
Tradouws pas is amper so goed, dalk beter, as nuut.
