Took a little ride on Saturday into the midlands, I like to explore roads i have not yet been on, so, I went out on the Curry's post road, there is an aviation memorial that I have wanted to find, and see what its all about.... never did find the memorial, but had a great ride anyway!!, I ended up on top of a higher than expected ridge  (1503m) overlooking the lower valley.

On Sunday I decided to venture a little further, I have noticed on the map that there is a road that leads from the top of the Karkloof past Mbona Reserve, and then, depending on the roads you take, you can end up at Seven oaks. This I did, and after arriving at seven Oaks, I decided to head towards Dalton, and see where the road, and mood would take me from there....

Arriving in Dalton, I decided to follow the road towards Nsuze, and then the north  coast, as I had never done the route before. I finally ended up at Shalinley Manor Beach, and then made my way down the M4 towards Umhlanga, where I took the short cut to PineTown, and then home,... It was a great ride, but very hot! Outside temp as I rode through the hell hole of Pmb was 35.5

The Mooi boys took our last ride this weekend and did all the back roads to weenen and back to Mooi river for a lekker Braai . PS Porra juice we got at the KZN bash was a must that we had on ice from August
