Indeed, I ride quite often but seldom document it. There's endless riding potential here.

On the way there I wanted to find Sibudu Cave which I had spotted on Google maps whilst looking for a route, right in our backyard. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sibudu_Cave

As it turned out I found some German archeologists there excavating, part of a 23 person team stationed in Ballito. Quite a significant site with human activity dating back up to 77000 years ago and contained the earliest evidence of needle technology, some kind of glue composite and the use of bedding.

I tried to find it from top of the hill but soon realised you can only enter by crossing the river below.

Nice long winding trip today. Left home 08H00.
Route Swellendam, Suurbraak, Barrydale & brekkie with Barabas then toward Ladismith, take Garcia Pass turnoff towards Riversdal but see a road I have never been on so on to MondvanPietsRivier, Van Wyksdorp, Attakwaskloof afdraai, Gouritsrivier, Herbertsdale, Albertinia, Riversdal, Heidelberg and home at 15H00
