I would think that ABS for everyday safety, spoked wheels for weekends, and maybe some niceties like heated grips for the long road would not be a tall order on an R80k sub-750cc bike.
But look around; You either get bare basics for R60k (eg KLR, DR, XT), or you have to fork out R120k for an F800/Tiger etc.
With the Transalp discontinued (I think), you're left with the R84k Sertao and ....?
Where is the Hilux of the DS biking world? We're sitting with Cayennes and Defenders, and while each does what it does very well, there's no middle ground.
