Where to teach my son riding a bike

Good evening all

Where can I teach my son to ride a bike? He is turning 14 early next year.

I thought of getting him a used XR125 or something similar which he can use legally when he can get a learners license in a few year's time.

Any suggestions or advice will be welcomed,
