This is a little bit of a cross-post, but I'm on a desperate hunt for a replacement slip-on pipe for a 690 R Rally conversion.
Does anyone have any good ideas where to get one in a hurry in Cape Town?
First prize would be Wings. Failing that, Leo Vince or a discount price Akro. I'd consider just about anything that is quiet and provides correct back-pressure. The OEM pipe is too long or I'd even consider that lump of lead.
Which pipes should I avoid?
Has anyone tried a Spark exhaust? The Universal GP is quite cheap, and could possibly be made to fit.
I need to replace the obnoxious thing that's on the bike at the moment, not so much for its limp looks, but because the bike itself rejects it outright by refusing to run properly without correct back-pressure... at least that's what I'm hoping is the problem
