I am looking to be educated here…
I had a F800GS for two years, then sold it for my current GS1200 (big mistake) – am looking to go back to mid-size 800’s….
Money for T7 I do not have, so my choices have basically been narrowed down to a young 800GS or Tiger XC/XCX
I don’t need tips on the GS, as I had one and can give you advice on it – my questions pertain to the Tiger, as I know very little about the bike in general, yet I find myself wanting one more and more.
What are the main differences between the XC and XCX? Is it simply updated year models?
What should I look for when going to view at potential sellers’?
Why should I opt for the Tiger over the GS?
What are the main niggles and can they be easily sorted?
Are there any models I should stay away from?
What should I expect to get for around 80K?
Feel free to comment on questions I haven’t asked, and should – I want to make an informed decision between british and german – so the more input you give me the better.
