Eventually I get a proper breather...
It was good for us (African Dream Adventures and Dual Purpose Adventures) to give something back to the girls for what they went through in doing the 2010 Wild Dog calendar shoots in the icy cold mornings, leaving at early hours to get there.
These girls really have guts!!
The weekend was a real enjoyment, there is nothing as good as having people attending a weekend and they want to be there, they want to learn and work together and is more than willing to challenge what is thrown at them even the extensive heat. Hein and Judy (Malibu) did a great job and with Michael Steyn ensuring that we are fed and hydrated it was easy to focus on the fun stuff.
The confidence and skill levels really grew over the course of the two days.
We wish the girls safe and less exhaustive riding ahead, they did well and got to know each other better as well as those that had their partners/spouses there now have a better understanding of each other’s skills and can also help each other.
Biking, doing it with family or friends is what life is all about...

NEXT COURSE: HEKPOORT TRAINING CAMP 12/13/14 FEBRUARY 2010
Best wishes for the new year. African Dream Adventures (www.africandreamadventures.co.za) and Dual Purpose Adventures (www.dualpurpose.co.za) will continue to provide high quality and focused training courses this year.
Most of you were on the previous Hekpoort Training Camp November last year and have first hand experience of the facilities, the food, and the training and can thus suggest people that you may know about the next course. You may forward this message to them.
The next course is taking place over the weekend of 12 to 14 February 2010 at the same venue. The cost is R 970.00 per person for the weekend and include camping fee, the course, meals, and fun from Friday evening till Sunday afternoon. We can also include the pillion rider in some of the suitable exercises.
Short itenary - Arrival Friday after work till late, Training Saturday, Night ride for the ones that feel up to it, and Training Sunday morning.
