How long was the circuit? Can you tell us a bit more about it?

Hey BB, the circuit was about 1.5 maybe 2 km.  All the obstacles were arranged more or less in a straight line down the exposed spectator side.  The rest of the circuit was a fairly tight track through the trees (out of sight, where some guys could catch a quick rest) and back to the obstacles again.  The course was quite sandy everywhere,  Obstacles included logs, log-beds, rock mounds, a big step-up, nasty double tyre obstacles even a log bridge which looked a lot like one of your mata burros (sp?).  Some competitors jumped this.  Part of the track ran through huge gum-trees at barely handlebar spacing.  I don't think anyone got it wrong here, but it gave me the creeps.
