Will this work?? (XT660Z aux placement)

Hi all.

Just want to know if this will work or if it is a kak idea?

Changed GPS's power to the ignition & want to connect aux port directly to battery and place it as below...

Enough space between frame & plastics for port to fit. Will also plastic weld some enforcement to the back of the plastics.

You guys think I'll have any issues?
