My 500 is no longer for sale - I'm keeping it

It is a 2013 model first registered new in 2016 - papers say 2016

I bought it from Gerry van der Byl in November 2016 with 3000 kms on (Dakar finisher) - he bought it new to do Amageza and Jozi 2 Kosi but then changed to a 690

The bike has now got 213 hours and 11 065 km on it - serviced every 1000 kms by myself and only runs on Motorex Fully Synthetic

Lots of Extras

20 litre Acerbis long range tank - good for 400 km range
Standard 8 litre tank and plastic shrouds included

Rear tyre - Mitas C02 Stoneking 120 / 90 /18 - done maybe 1000 km - still good for another 3000 km
and brand new unused Mitas E09 spare replacement rear tyre

Front tyre - Mitas C23 90 / 90 / 21 - done 2000 km - still good for another 3000 km
and used Michelin Desert Race spare replacement front tyre

Heavy duty super thick enduro tubes encased in another standard tube in both wheels - almost puncture proof

Hyde Guards on swingarm, clutch cover and stator cover

Carbonteck exhaust guard

Fastway wide rally footpegs

Zeta handguards

Aluminium bashplate

Front and rear orange MSD sharkfin brake disc protectors

Spare original headlight mask - the one that is on the bike in the pics is from a Husky 501 with a super bright LED headlight bulb in

Enduro Engineering radiator guards

Pro Moto Billet Sidestand

Enduristan Rally tailpack mounted on rear fender

Motobatt battery

Other spares included: another Twin Air foam air filter, front and rear brake levers , clutch lever and gear lever cable tied into airbox AND brand new original exhaust silencer

Registered and licensed until end October 2020

Sold with roadworthy certificate

This bike has not been raced - it has been used as a lightweight touring bike and is geared up and kitted out for that - there are no frills - it is the most capable and basic technical touring bike perfect for those hard trips like Kaokoland etc

Suspension has been tuned and set up by Supefoxi for 85 kg - and he lowered it 30 mm for me because I am a short arse

No longer for sale - withdrawn on 29 January 2020
