While riding down a mountain this weekend my Garmin Dakota 20 came out of my motorcycle's handlebar mount and ended up between the steering stop and the mud guard.
The result is a cracked screen.
Has anyone had to replace a touch-screen on a Garmin Dakota / Garmin Oregon / Garmin Colorado and if so, what was the damage?
I need an approximate cost so I can know if it's worth replacing or if I should just buy a new unit...
Garmin SA refuses to give me any estimate. They simply won't give me any indication of what it might cost and insist that I should send in the unit so they can prepare a quote.
