X-country screen resetting issue

Anyone here had any issues on an x with the speedo cluster resetting? It does not effect the rest of the bike ie revs etc. The cluster just goes off and comes back on again.. Bmw had it for a week and a half, tried a different cluster and a battery, checked wiring and a couple other things. But they don't know what the issue is.
