After the rebuild ,the first few rides were exhillirating,and it was quite novel..the popping and occasional backfire when you decelerate....however it MUST BE GONE!! and ive done all I can think of to rid the problem.
Yes, the carbs been completely re kitted,with new shut off membrain too
Yes,Ive gone from a 53 to a 60 slo jet....yet the plugs still brownish and for me, burning a bit lean
Yes ive tried different plugs but can only get(NGK D8ea and NST D8TC) locally.
Yes ,ive rechecked valves clearance and if the intake/carbholder's sucking air.
So ,asseblief "Runner...LeCap and the other fundies" shed some lite here.
Ive read also that it could be a low voltage problem,but dont know how,cos theres no starting/ideling problems,and maybe i can turn the pilot screw a tad richer,but as said ive upped the slo jet and pilotscrew is 3 turns out.
