Grey Hound
So went to a shop that specialises in rebuilding xr500 hondas. Can get fully refurbished xr (motor,frame,wheels cables etc etc) for pretty decent price.
Usage would be to mess around weekends etc , riding railway line servitude etc..no real heavy enduro type stuff.
2 problems i know of is kick start (although ou says he sets em up real good) and no registration paper as ou reckons it took him like 2 years to sort out prev. I don’t really think either of these are show stoppers to me
What you think... due to short fingers, long pockets my only other real alternative would be the puzey 500 at double the price and im a bit scared of Chinese still (although trawling net for puzey i don’t find any stories on 500 but plenty problems on some 400 he had a few years ago
