Hey guys
Ive finally managed to save up a decent amount of cash to sort my XR's tendency to smoke like a 2-stroke :biggrin:
But one thing is bothering me.
The counter shaft/output shaft splines are pretty worn down.
Some tool who had the bike before i did decided just any front sprocket would work and it did its damage to the counter shaft unfortunately
Honda is quoting somewhere in the region of R1700 for a new one ???
, which kind of messes with my plans of doing one or two upgrades .
Anyone perhaps know where i could find one for cheaper or if its possible to weld up the shaft and get the splines re-cut?
I don't want to be opening up the motor again anytime soon, so a proper solution is in order.
