I noticed that a large interest has arisen about my headlight covers and the blinking Bike so now for my fellow WD and those that are interested a quick how 2 guide to helping your bike look a little bit more like my trusty steed eepwall:,
First off you need a Africa Twin if you dont have one of those then try and find one as it is a rather vital bit of kit,
next you will need two pieces of perspex in what ever colour you like, mine are orange and clear but you could have whatever tickles your fancy
the lense covers measure 14cm x 14 cm, het hulle vas an die ligte ge velcro, dubble sided tape and die een kant van die lig met die "Pa" vand are fixed to the headlights via velcro, once you have cut out your covers, glue or double sided tape four bits of velcro to each cover respectively,
now stick "male" side of the velcro to the headlight, make sure that the male and female line up, otherwise you will have a prob, now you can push the lense covers ono the lenses and the velcro holds them n place,
The velcro is handy as it makes removing all the dead bugs from them eisier and you can still reach the headlight behind the cover, also If your desired colour is not up to IR sinclaires regulations you can remove it and avoid a fine :thumleft:
hope it helps
