Xt 600 E bogs down in 5 gear

So my friends xt600e bogs down/misfire in 5gear at around 110-120km/h when you roll-on the throttle or going up a hill
Happens mostly when underload, what could it be? Bike runs fine otherwise
Cdi stator problem?
Carb?
