XT1200Z Super Tenere 12 volt Socket

Took the bike for its first outing in Cedarberg area over the long weekend.  Lost of fun, but when I wanted to use mu compressor it worked for 1 sec and died.  I think it was the fuse.  will check it tonight.  Any ideas?  Can I use a higher amp fuse?
