I am thinking of playing around with the sprocket setup on my XT600E, but do not know if it will make a big difference.  Currently i am running the stock standard setup, but would like to get a bit more top end speed with lower revs.

Look the bike is not fast, but its got enough power.  i am quite a big guy 115kg's and with the wife and luggage it suffers a bit on the long road.  The setup is fine for gravel and more than fine for off-road riding, but im doing more blacktop riding during the week.

Any suggestions?  I struggle to get a biger front sprocket (16 teeth) (much easier to change over) but thinking of dropping the rear sprocket with 3 teeth ???

will it be worthwile to do the change?
