I am one of those exceedingly lucky blokes who has a lot of very special friends. I could probably write a book about all the good things friends have done for me over the years. This is just one example... I got given this bike by a friend of a friend. He gave it to me because my friend gave it to him.

It was meant to be for my 6 year old son, but it is way too big for him. My plan was to get it running (it was very tatty and had not been started in 7 years), and then swap it for a PW80 or equivalent. I even advertised as such on the For Sale section. Louiszander and Africa Offroad both showed an interest. I have 101 other projects on at the moment, so I decided to take it to a friend to spruce up for me so that I can swap it out with a clear conscience.

Look at what my mate is busy doing for me! It's incredible. This is going to be like a new bike, which sounds great, but now how the hell do I handle the 2 blokes who were interested in swapping it for a Peewee 80?

Never underestimate the value of friendship!

Pic of the day I collected the bike. I should have taken more pics.
