We spent the afternoon lazing on the deck, overlooking the waterhole. Elephant, Kudu, Sable, etc came to drink while we had some beers and lunch.my chicken and crocodile burger was delicious!

DAY 11 - HWANGE TO MATOBO

Day 11 was a day of mixed emotions. One of my favourite days of riding. Lots of sand, which I’ve grown to love despite the sand monster swallowing me whole in my early days of adv riding.

Unfortunately we also had a breakdown and a rider that crashed and subsequently being prevented from riding for the remaining 2 days.

Day started with a buffet breakfast at Hwange Safari Lodge.
