Zimbabwe....Milibizi ferry to Kariba heights

Hi chaps,

My wife and I are planning our next December holiday, and have come up with the idea of riding from Jozzie, through Botswana/ Zambia and into Zim.

We are considering the option of using Kariba ferry to move from just below Vic falls across to Kariba heights. My question is if anyone has done this and what are the pro's and con's? I think it could be a great component to a mini African odyssey

Any suggestions and help would be greatly appreciated.
