From George to Joburg - best transport back?

We are planning a trip down the Wild Coast in November and plan to end up in George as our final destination.

What are our options to get back to JHB from there?

We thought of flying and then putting the bikes on a trailer, or possibly renting a car from there and hitching a trailer, but I'm not too sure about one-way rentals for bike trailers.

Any suggestions? We won't have a back-up car with us.
