OK so I did a relaxed 450km loop on Sunday, over Breedt,s up through Rustenburg area, across through Assen and Atlanta, the Rust de Winter and back, no rush but no real stops a quick beakfast at Atlanta and a loop back all done early afternoon and park.
Monday washed the GSV.
Today, rode the 9km to MAKRO, park it, fire it up no issue 200m later it Dies.... fiddle fuses etc etc nothing, park it up...
Walk to Pub 500m away SMS everybody, eventuallly get a lift home and later Grim calls, we get his Bakkie load the Pig and away we go, Beer stop required......
Get it home and offload the dainty beast... open the beer fridge and yes the QUESTION.... shall we try it.... nervous yep...... you know the answer it fired first time :-\ :-\
OK so it has been making whining fuel pump noises when warm all along the canal routes when riding slow...
It showed all dash lights when spinning but not firing
No notable fuel smell when spinniung but not firing
My opinion Fuel Pump... oh yes about a 1/4 of a tank of gas...
Any other opinions, should I ask I wonder :
