Yesterday on my commute, I flashed the main beam in greeting of a fellow rider (non-BMW I might add :
) and the display came up with "lamp" and the yellow triangle as if the globe has blown. No biggie, as I had a spare globe at home.
After fitting the new one, it still showed the same. I swopped the globes around with the same result, thus proving that the globe itself is not faulty.
I checked all the visible wiring and connectors, but see nothing wrong. It can't be the switch, because the blue mains indicator still lights up when I press the switch.
What could it be?
