I own a 400R and a 600R.
When I bought the 600, it had a clear 17lt tank which I didn't really like, so I got a 22lt acerbis that I fitted, and rode it. The 400 was used by my youngest to school until he got his car and was standing as I had a 950S as well.
Long story short, I sold the 950S to a fellow dog and started rising the 400 as it was light and nimble, but too nimble for me, and jittery with the OEM 9lt tank.
I thought the tank on the 600 was a straight fit as it had markings for the 650L as well as for the 250R which I thought was the same as the 400R in principle, which, you guessed correct, it wasn't.
But today I finally got the brackets right and fitted the tank hoping the extra 13kg will settle the front end a bit. Running at 19km/L I'll have a reach of over 400km on a tank which I guess is lekka.
What I really want to say is I have a spare set of brackets for somebody if they want to go that route. R200 plus postage, fits perfectly, but for this specific Ascerbis 22lt tank.
Lemme know.
Cheers
