We will be travelling to Mossel Bay for our annual vacation at the beginning of November
First day will be a very long day - I booked over-night accommodation in Graaff-Reinet
From Graaff-Reinet we always remain on the N9 passing Willowmore, Aberdeen, Uniondale all the way to George and then onto Mossel Bay
On the map, I see the R339 road goes from Uniondale to Avontuur, de Vlugt and then to Knysna (and the R340 to Plett/Keurbooms)
We can only book into our holiday cottage from 14:00 so we have plenty of time to get to Mossel Bay and it is always nice to explore a new road and different scenery. Wifey wants to visit Plett and Knysna anyway during our holiday so doing it on the way to Mossel Bay will save me a trip later on during the holiday
Is the R339 a nice road to travel on?
Is it better to remain on the N9 and visit Plett and Knysna at a later stage?
