How about some classic beemer colouring...

Here are some variations based on the magnesium's colour scheme where the radiator covers are also coloured. I resisted the temptation to make a bright pink one for the ladies – some things just won't do! I thinks the khaki looks kif.

I just received my official recall for the front axle problem – apparently the quick release axle can get damaged under heavy load like offroad riding. Mmmmmm I shudder at the thought of all those fast rocky sections we just did in Lesotho with a dodgy front axle!

Let me know as soon as they're in – btw thanks for showing the way home on Sunday – those crosswinds on the freeway were a bitch!

The 800 wobbles upfront at speed when fitted with certain knobblies (TKC, Karoo etc). My wobbling with Karoo T starts at 130 and doesn't get better with higher speeds. I've had the front on for 2500km and it's still the same, I'm disappointed to report. So either fit knobblies and cruise slowly...

Nope, seat stayed on with my drop... I didn't try to catch it though.

I've been offered a 2002 YZ250F (four stroke) for R23K – good condition, just serviced. I've been contemplating getting a "play plastic" for rides like Daytona and De Wildt and want to know if it's fair value and a good ride.

Has anyone changed their sprockets to anything but the standard? I'm contemplating it to get a lower first gear for the really slow technical stuff – not so worried about top end as 160 is all you can do on knoblies anyway.
