this cat brightened up my day... been trying to "find" him for a while now. finally not sneaky enough for a trail camera.. Been giving the baboons in the area a torrid time the past few weeks. :thumleft: not complaining.

I have a perfecto 2xl and have been very happy with it. convenient for summer and winter with the removable lining. Comfortable and well cut. have not had to use it in a off yet.... so cannot comment on that aspect.

what made you choose the panasonic in the end.  good camera no doubt, but what was the final factor that pushed you that way ? watch for sand .. that is an Achilles heel for all the extending/ retracting zooms.. the longer the quicker they are to get jammed by a grain of sand. dust is fine..it...

Nikon is good but I think for the bridge cameras, canon is the best. Fuji also has very good processors  but I have played with many cameras her over the years and would go for the powershot.... Up early as usual I see...

have a look at this website https://www.dpreview.com/ gives good info. I still vote for the canon powershot. budget, size and main use should help you choose the right model.

canon powershop....the one that fits your budget. cannot go wrong. I am a canon man however so tend to be biased  :biggrin:

see the KLR is still for sale in SA.. or is it old stock. I assume the issue is the engine with regards to emissions .... will the v-strom engine work in the dr frame ? seems the easiest bypass for the manufactures as the dr was still popular and they are effectively shutting down a range.

now that they have killed the Suzuki Dr 650 .... what is it going to be replaced with by Suzuki ? has it been discontinued internationally ? surely all the thumpers fall foul of the emissions or what ever issue there was ? does anybody know ?

bupa is expensive. looked at them some years ago but in the end went for SOS. I guess it depends on what you really are needing and the budget involved.
