Wow only saw this now, I knew it was coming up but somehow missed it.

All I can say FANTASTIC!!!!  :hello2: :hello2: :hello2: :hello2: :hello2: :hello2:

Well done to the the organizers, Badger, and riders!!

I'm curious: what software did you use to put the road books together?

Some rallies are very tight and have big road books because of all the turns. Im not surprised there were more than 90 Wp's, how long was the total route?

I'm going to chat to the Badger to give him some hints to make the navigation nasty for the next one: Its going to be a comp to see who gets fooled the most. ;) Make sure you read your road books boys

Thanks BB, appreciate any help as we have to keep the guys on their toes.  :deal:

Gundagunda helped with a program he made that read the gps files and extracted all the info we needed for the roadbook. I then used that info coupled with my notes and made the roadbook. Hannalea then computer drew my tulips and that was that.

The route was 128 km's with a mixture of terrain.

Just a thought - wouldn't that little church where we all got lost, qualify as the smallest church in South Africa now?

Would love to see the bit where you nearly went over the edge
Think that 1st near miss was on the footage, but not the one just before the Shebeen... that was the big one..... one split second longer and I would have laid the bike down to stop us flying off the edge....
Small lapse in concentration is all it takes hey

Joh this looks awesome - when's the next one!?
