1100GS headlight HID upgrade possible?

Hi,

I need some solid advice from dogs regarding a possible upgrade on my 1997 BMW 1100GS headlight from H4 halogen to the HID bulb.

A friend has this HID kit that he is not using now and offered it to me.

I tried to confirm on several websites, but need to be sure if this is the correct kit for the 1100GS please.
