1150 GSA Running lean?

I had my peeg on a 911 diagnostic tool this weekend. It showed it runs way lean, not within the set limits. Should the bike's electronics not be able to optimize the air/fuel mixture itself and keep it within the limits? Or must I set it from time to time?

Bike is de-catted, have a BMC reusable air filter and Remus pipe.
