Hi Guys
Here is my proposal for 2013 .
Dates : 14 & 15 June 2013
Place : Augrabies Falls , Northern Cape
Cost to Camp : R 71,00 per night
Distances to Augrabies from:
Johannesburg - 890 km
Cape Town - 850 km
Port Elizabeth - 1022 km
Durban - 1300 km
Visit the cathedral at Pella, Lunch at the Kenhardt hotel, Sticker from Pofadder, visit Keimoes, Kakamas , lots of Dirt Roads, Bridges across the Orange River .
These dates are outside of any school holidays , no rain likely in the Kalahari at that time , but the nights will be cold . One of the few National Parks that allows bikes to enter . The campsites are nice and the ablutions and facilities are good.
Give us some feedback please , long time to go but this is a popular place so we will need to reserve in good time .
