So after deciding it was time to start another bike build, I decided on purchasing Woody 1's Elefant 750. I knew the bike needed some work to get her into tiptop mechanical and decent cosmetic state.

A lot was done on the bike by my dad as you can read on his thread. https://wilddog.net.za/forum/index.php?topic=252086.0.

When I got the bike I drove it to work and back for about a week to get a feel what needs to be looked before disassembling. The main thing I noticed was lots of blow by from crankcase breather and compression test revealed 90psi on Horizontal and 85 on Vertical cylinder. It went up slightly after doing the oil in cylinder test.

I started to strip to maybe just do the rings and check top end, but eventually decided to go full out and strip the entire engine.

As you can see below ring gaps are way too big. Rings will Definitely be needed. Cylinders and heads taken to Remitech in PE to measure and check everything. Pistons and cylinders don't look to bad.
