It is with sadness that I am putting my bike up for sale. Reason being I am not getting younger, old bones heal slowly.
Would have kept it for my son if he was taller.
Also being on pension I prefer my cage for shopping. Might look at a 250cc for quick bread-runs.
Okay, the details.
2007 model with 43814 miles (translates to 70 000km) on the odo-meter, bought with 22000 on in 2016. (for some reason the odo reads in miles not km, bought like this, maybe aftermarket odo. Speedo works in km/h) I just do the math, 1 mile =1.6km.
1. Comes with printed owners manual, also all service documents and purchases since I bought it.
2. Has SW Motech Alu bashplate, side stand enlarger, rear brake cylinder cover and GIVI crashbars.
3. SW Motech centre stand.
4. Seat recently re-covered due to small tear where rider/pillion seats meet.
5. Shad top-box with small carrier on top.
6. Original toolbag, complete as far as I know with added allen key for chain tensioner.
7. Tubeless repair kit wit CO2 cylinders and adaptor with tap for valve.(also 90 degree adaptor for tyre inflation)
8. Has Andowl cellphone cradle.
9. Self-fitted 12v cigarette lighter type socket.
10. Givi extendable screen. (great when you hit hail, ask me)
11. I have a spare RH handguard and some handlebar ends and related bits and pieces.
12. Aftermarket indicators.
13. Bobbins on rear swingarm.
14. Bridgestone Battlewing on front, Battleaxe on rear.
Honesty section.
1. Bought the bike wit a small smiley on rear rim, does not deflate at all.
2.1I dropped the bike on its side on the sloped driveway, standing still. Sidestand was not fully deployed. Hence small scratches on left tank cover. Also the reason for after market indicators, OEM replacements cost over 1K each.
3. Seat was recovered in mid 2023 due to the reason stated above, before any moisture got in and damaged the foam.
Price R45 000.00 slightly negotiable.
