Hey guys,
New shape KLR.
So I bought the bike with a taller windscreen, but I'm concerned that it'll break off in off-road conditions.
So basically when the mirrors come off, the windscreen must come off too, much like the fancy people do with their fancy BMWs eepwall:
Trouble is that the KLR has two really nice sharp points bits that stick up when you remove the screen which is, needless to say, not exactly ideal....
Does anyone have some advice regarding windscreen removal on the KLR for off-roading?
How can I remove it without running the risk of damaging the bracket or damaging myself in the (highly likely) event of a tumble?
Attached an image of what I mean (the photo isn't of my bike or screen though)
